    Fun Facts:

    1. Ancient Bobab Tree: Salalah boasts one of Oman's largest and oldest trees, the Bobab tree, enhancing the natural beauty of the region.

    2. Tawi Atair Sinkhole: Known as "the nest of the birds," this sinkhole in Salalah hosts unique bird species not found elsewhere in Oman. It is also among the world's deepest sinkholes, measuring 211 meters deep and 100 meters wide.

    3. Anti-Gravity Point: Experience the intriguing Anti-Gravity Point where cars seem to move uphill in neutral, creating a captivating optical illusion.

    4. Jabal Samhan Reserve Wildlife: The Jabal Samhan Reserve in Salalah is a habitat for endangered Arabian Leopards, with monitoring through activated cameras to track various animals, including hyenas and wolves.

        Important notes
          • Physical rating: Suitable for everyone, includes beginner level hiking and walking.
          • Flights to Salalah International Airport:
            • Arriving on the day before in the evening: we recommend Air Arabia (Flight number G9 392) arriving at 6:00pm or Fly Dubai (Flight number FZ 33) arriving at 5:55pm.
            • Arriving on the day of in the morning: we recommend Air Arabia (flight number G9 390) arriving at 9:20am.
            • If you choose to fly with another airline, please ensure that you plan your itinerary to arrive as per the meeting time in the airport which is at 10:30am.
            • Different months have different flight times so please make sure you check the flight availability before booking your trip.
          • Meeting point & time:
            • Meetup time for evening flight: 7:00pm.
            • Meeting time for morning flight: 11:00am.

          • Visa requirements:
            • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid visa or are eligible for a visa on arrival. Please visit https://evisa.rop.gov.om/ for the latest updates on visa requirements for Oman. The information provided below is for general guidance only and is subject to change:
              • Most nationalities (excluding certain African nationalities) holding a UAE work visa with more than 3 months of validity remaining and a passport valid for over 6 months can enter Oman visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival.
              • If you hold a dependent visa and your dependent meets the above criteria, you can also enter visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival, provided your dependent is traveling with you.
          • Health and travel insurance: It is mandatory to have a health and travel insurance in the country where this experience is happening. If you don't have insurance or your current insurance doesn't provide coverage, you can obtain it from dnata or any similar insurance provider.
          • Extra night: If you want to extend your stay by a night before or after the trip, you can contact us and we can book an extra night for AED 500 per room on single occupancy basis and AED 600 per room on twin occupancy basis in Salalah International Hotel or similar.
          • Tipping Information: If you'd like to show your appreciation to your guide, please bring cash in AED or OMR for tipping.

            • Rain Jacket (in case it was raining)

            • Hiking shoes. Waterproof is a plus.
