  • Pick up & drop off from our meeting point in Dubai to Khasab and back + Border Crossing Fee (Available optionally for 256AED (225AED for transport and 31AED for border crossing))
  • Visa Requirements:
    • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid visa or are eligible for a visa on arrival. Please visit https://evisa.rop.gov.om/ for the latest updates on visa requirements for Oman. The information provided below is for general guidance only and is subject to change:
      • Most nationalities (excluding certain African nationalities, Pakistani and a few other nationalities) holding a UAE work visa with more than 3 months of validity remaining and a passport valid for over 6 months can enter Oman visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival.
      • If you hold a dependent visa and your dependent meets the above criteria, you can also enter visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival, provided your dependent is traveling with you.
      • If you are in the UAE on a tourist visa, please check the visa requirements for both Oman and the UAE. 
      • We do not provide refunds if you are denied entry to Oman for any reason, as entry and visa arrangements are outside our scope.
  • Important details if you are driving to Oman:
    • If you have a loan on your car, you will need to get a NOC from your bank/dealership to be able to cross the border to Oman. You will also need Oman insurance for your car which you can get at the border if you don’t have one.
    • You are not allowed to take a car that is not under your name unless you have a RTA permit.
  • Physical rating: Beginner
  • Group size: Small group experience - Avg. 15, Max 20.
  • Meeting point & time:
  • Nature calls: Toilet will be available on the boat
  • Solo & women friendly: Solo and female travelers are more than welcome; 70% of our participants are usually solo adventurers and women.
  • Not pet-friendly: This trip is not suitable for pets due to border crossings.
  • Mobile Coverage: Reception is weak or nonexistent on the boat in Khasab.
  • Important Note: Bookings cannot be rescheduled within 14 days of the trip.
  • Health and travel insurance: It is mandatory to have a health and travel insurance in the country where this experience is happening. If you don't have insurance or your current insurance doesn't provide coverage, you can obtain one here !
  • Single Supplement: A single supplement is available for 150 aed per night if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip (Subject to Availability). Please contact us for further information.
  • Tipping Information: If you'd like to show your appreciation to your guide, please bring cash in OMR or AED for tipping.

Itinerary

Day 1

Dubai to Khasab: The Adventure Begins

3:00 PM – Departure from Dubai (for the ones who booked transport)

  • Begin your journey from Dubai on one of the most scenic drives in Arabia, with captivating views as you head towards Khasab, famously known as the "Norway of Arabia."

5:00–6:00 PM – Border Crossing

  • Arrive at the UAE-Oman border and complete the crossing formalities.

6:30–7:00 PM – Sunset Stop (near Bukha or coastal viewpoints)

  • Pause along the Musandam coastal road after crossing the border. This area is known for dramatic cliffs and views of the Gulf of Oman, perfect for enjoying the sunset and taking photos. Guests can stretch their legs, have light refreshments, and soak in the scenery before continuing.

8:00 PM – Arrival at Khasab & Dinner 

  • Reach Khasab, check-in to the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with fellow travelers, featuring icebreaker games to get to know each other.
Day 2

Breakfast, fjords, dolphins watching, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and Return to Dubai

08:00 AM – Khasab Castle Visit

  • Explore Khasab Castle, originally built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. The fort now houses an excellent museum showcasing Musandam’s history, traditional boats, handicrafts, and the region’s cultural heritage.

09:00 AM - Hotel Check-Out

  • Check out from the hotel as you get ready for a day of adventure.

10:00 AM – Departure & Scenic Fjord Cruise

  • Board a traditional dhow and have breakfast as we set sail through the breathtaking Musandam Fjords, often compared to the fjords of Norway. Enjoy views of dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and remote fishing villages such as Nadifi, Qanah, Maqlab, Sham, and Seebi.

11:00 AM – Dolphin Watching

  • Keep an eye out for playful dolphins swimming alongside the dhow—a magical and memorable sight.

12:00 PM – Fishing Experience

  • Try your hand at traditional fishing techniques under the guidance of local experts.

01:00 PM – Lunch Near Al Seebi Island

  • Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on board the dhow, anchored near the scenic Al Seebi Island, surrounded by pristine beaches and towering mountains.

02:00 PM – Snorkeling, Swimming & Kayaking

  • Dive into the turquoise waters for a swim, snorkel among colorful marine life, or paddle around in a kayak.

05:00PM - Transfer Back to Khasab Port

  • Return to Khasab Port as your fjord adventure winds down.

05:30 PM – Departure from Khasab

  • Begin the scenic drive back to Dubai, crossing the UAE–Oman border once again.

09:30 PM - Arrival in Dubai

  • Arrive in Dubai with unforgettable memories from your overnight dhow cruise and exploration of Khasab, the stunning "Norway of Arabia."
